Jabber hosting allows you to communicate securely with others. Venue Communications,
Inc. offers Jabber hosting for companies or individuals who need to keep their
instant messages private. Jabber conferencing allows more than 2 parties to
chat securely. Through the use of SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) and our private
Jabber hosting server, your communications can be kept private. We can set
up a sub-domain; i.e, jabber.yourdomain.com so that your identity remains intact.
Jabber Hosting is Free - Our employees have
been using Jabber to communicate securely internally since May of 2005. We
will be offering jabber hosting free of any charges while we roll this service
out to the public. Once we have enough clients enrolled, we will have a pricing
model worked out and will give you the option to continue as a paying service.
We expect the pricing to be in the $10 per month range for basic person to
person Jabber hosting. We also expect additional monthly charges for add-ons
such as file sharing. The costs will depend greatly on the amount of server
